Why Crucis?

The word “Crucis” is Latin for cross, and the symbol can be seen as a cross, a roundabout or a ring-sight on a rifle - all of which are very relevant to Crucis Consultants' mission to help managing directors and owners of SMEs at their points of need, or their crossroads. Without a large board of directors or large number of specialist managers, SMEs can sometimes struggle to keep up with the dynamic changes brought about by the general business environment, government legislation or impacts from specific events.

Most SME businesses are built on a passion for what they are doing - and often that is the main reason they keep going under the most difficult circumstances! That passion is infectious and exciting, but often needs channelling and directing.

Sometimes there is a crossroads in the start-up phase where the first flush of setting up the company has gone and they find they are without a Business Plan of any sort, or any real idea about how to move forward, how to create a brand, build a customer base, spend limited funds most wisely, employ staff and so on.
